Berlin top city for students in Europe
But what are the top student housing cities in Europe? The Class of 2020 has compiled a ranking comparing 44 university cities on 35 parameters: Berlin is the winning city: better relationship between university fees and teaching, rich and affordable social life, fun and the right mix of culture and leisure with one eye to student portfolios, proverbially minimal.

The great competitiveness of Germany and Portugal stands out. Florence is the only Italian city to appear among the top 20 places thanks, according to The Class 2020, to the cultural beauties and availability of apartments at low prices. Milan does not rank in the upper part of the ranking due to the scarcity of housing and the level of international education which, although improving, remains low. The problem of housing scarcity also afflicts Madrid, which does not appear among the Spanish cities in the top 20: however, Barcelona, Valencia and Seville appear.

Here is the top 5 European university cities:
1. Berlin
2. Munich
3. Lisbon
4. Amsterdam
5. Port

An opportunity that is widely exploited by Camplus, now present in 11 cities, but also by other investors. Hines, for example, is particularly attentive to the city of Milan; Bocconi University is one of the most substantial investments, with 160 million euros recently invested for the two studentates from 1300 rooms that will be concluded in 2020-2021. Other investments are arriving in Rome, Florence and Venice.
